Welcome to Liberty Badminton Club

Liberty Badminton Club was established in 2008 to provide league and social games, welcoming all people independent of geographic location, background, age, or ability level.
We cater not only for those who are ambitious and wish to progress up the badminton ladder, but also those whose needs are more social, fitness or recreational, and the club has adopted a strong ethos in seeking to cater for all players’ needs and ambitions.
We hire the Sports Hall at Pentrehafod School as the main home for all our playing activities, a location which has a large 4-court badminton hall with halogen lighting and modern changing facilities.
Subscription Fees for 2024-25 are £24.00 per month, payable by direct debit, covering hall fees and shuttles. Registration fees are £20.00 Welsh Badminton Fees and £10.00 SAWGBA league fees for the season. Visitors and new members can attend at a cost of £6.00 per session by prior arrangement.
The administration of the Club is entirely volunteer-based. Further information on the Club can be obtained by emailing the Club Secretary Mark Davies at info@libertybadminton.net or you can complete the contact form below. At present we are able to provide coaching to juniors, see the junior coaching page here.
The win leaves them 2 points behind league leaders, Celtic D, with a match in hand and only a slightly inferior games difference, meaning a win in their final match of the season against Pontardawe B next week should see them promoted! 🤞
It’s quite unusual to play the same team in such quick succession, but the C team are focussed on continuing their great run of form to push for top spot and promotion!
Good luck guys! 🏸💪🖤
Llanelli are no push overs though and tonight’s match is sure to be a cracker!
Good luck guys 🏸💪🖤
Our B team have had mixed results so far this season but still currently occupy 2nd place in the league.
All the best guys 🏸💪🖤
Having only lost to Swansea so far, it has been a very good season, with a win this evening keeping our feint hopes of promotion still alive in the hope that Swansea slip up against the same opposition in a few weeks time.
All the best tonight guys 🏸💪🖤
While we are currently sitting in mid-table, a win tonight (and our several games in hand) will put us joint top, with a chance of promotion.
Good luck guys, bring home the W! 🏸💪🖤
